Young Adult Grief Support Group

YA small

Death and grief are painful and confusing at any age, and for young adults, it can feel even more complicated. Just as you are exploring who you are, separate from your family, grief adds another layer that may make it hard to talk about the loss, which can fuel feelings of isolation, differentness, and pressure to be "OK."

Good Grief's Young Adult Support group brings together people who have experienced the death of someone important to them.  The group honors each member's unique story while exploring shared experiences and ways to cope with grief and loss.

Our Young Adult Group is open to anyone ages 18-30. This group currently meets bi-weekly on Thursday evenings. Groups are ongoing and free of charge - however, registration is required beforehand.

To learn more or register, please call us at 419/360-4939 or complete the form below.

Please note - While we welcome calls from concerned friends, family members, or others, Good Grief staff will not contact a grieving family unless we hear from the family themselves.  Because we know that people grieve in their own way and time, we recognize unexpected calls may not be welcomed. If you know of a family in need of grief support, please mention Good Grief of NW Ohio and let them know we are here whenever they are ready.
