Our next Volunteer Facilitator Training* will be held:
Saturday, March 7th - 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 8th - 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Tuesday, March 10th - 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm.
*Must complete all three sessions
With guidance from GG staff, volunteer facilitators lead children's and teen support groups and help create a safe, empathetic space for young people to explore and express their feelings and experiences of grief and loss.
All volunteers receive training to equip them with tools to effectively support grieving children and teens. No previous training or experience is needed!
We ask that all volunteer facilitators be at least 18 years of age, fulfill a 10-month commitment, and complete all three training sessions.
We are committed to providing grief support to all members of the community. We value a volunteer corps that represents diversity in education, gender, age, race/ethnicity, and sexual orientation.
