Thank you to everyone that supported Childhood Grief Awareness day by wearing blue on November 21st and to the staff and students at Whitmer High School and Jefferson Junior High for helping to raise awareness of the needs of grieving children — and of the benefits they receive through the support of others.
Good Grief Program Director Shana Sadoski and Student Ambassadors at Whitmer and Jefferson encouraged friends and classmates to participate by adding the name of their person who died or words of encouragement and support for friends who are grieving on a butterfly to create a beautiful collage of support and awareness!
An encouraging, judgment-free environment is so important for kids who are grieving. Thank you for your help in supporting Good Grief and the kids and teens we serve!
